FAQ

What are the salaries of actors?

An actor's pay can vary from $1,000,000 per movie to below $100,000 for independent films. The average actor receives between $10,000 and $20,000 for a film. Many actors aren't paid. It depends on how successful an actor is. Some actors are successful and make millions. Others struggle to find work.

What is the difference among a producer or distributor?

A producer creates the movie. A distributor distributes the movie. A distributor can distribute the movie to theaters or other companies such as Netflix. Distributors can buy movies from producers. They then make them available for sale to theaters as well cable channels and streaming services.

Distributors will need to negotiate with theatre owners about the location of their movies. This means that some theaters may charge more to see a certain movie than others. If you want your movie to be seen by as many people as possible, you should choose a distributor with many theaters.

How much does Hollywood earn in a single year?

A movie takes around $100 million to create. The average movie costs around $100 million to make. If you made ten movies per month for a ten year, you'd have enough cash to buy a small country.

Your island would be yours, complete with an airport, power plant, bank, post office, police force, fire department, school system, hospital, sports stadium, theater, and cinema.

If that doesn't sound like fun, then you must be insane.
