Cincinnati Reds defeated 7-6 by Kansas City Royals

Tonight's series opener saw the Kansas City Royals beating the struggling Cincinnati Reds, 7-6. The Royals are currently 21-12 overall and 4.5 games higher than.500. They are just 6.0 games behind first-place Brewers. The game was not that interesting for seven and a half innings, but it turned into a thrilling finish. Salvador Perez made the game-winning home run in the final inning to seal victory.

Jose Ramirez hits home run

Jose Ramirez was the star player in Wednesday's game for Cleveland Indians. He hit a two run homer in the bottom eighth inning to help the Indians win 4-2 against the Royals. Ramirez, unlike last year, has been a clutch hitter for Indians who have struggled to score runs this year. His lefty swing is also an advantage in close matches.

Impact Isbel hits 2-run single in extra-inning win of Chicago White Sox

On Tuesday night, the St. Louis Cardinals won Game 5. This was due to Impact Isbel's 2-run single in the extra innings. After the Cardinals had led the game off with a double to their right, they added a run on Harry Walker's single in the fifth. After two outs, a runner reached third when Tony Lazzeri made a slow grounder. Jack Dickson scored another run when he lined a single left field. After that, a baserunner got hit by pitch. He was struck out.

Matt Andriese pitches White Sox final two innings

Andriese's command of the strike zone, and strong control have allowed him to pitch five times since April 5. In all five appearances, he has never allowed a walk. He mentored many young players within the organization. The question is, will Andriese be called up or assigned to the IL?

Merrifield's return against the Royals

The Royals' 3-2 victory over the Blue Jays Monday is the best comeback in baseball this season, and Whit Merrifield has been the league's most impressive rookie. Merrifield scored the Royals' crucial sixth-inning run with a double that put them in a good position for his ninth-inning heroics. The Royals were trailing 2-1 in the sixth. This was due to walks by Brandon Moss, Alcides Escobar, and Alex Gordon. Merrifield's atbat, however, was enough to tie up the game.

FAQ

Why aren't more independent films distributed?

Indie filmmakers often assume that distributors will pick up their films.

Because they are confident that the public will love their film, they believe distributors would be willing to buy it.

However, this is seldom the case. Distributors often benefit from independent filmmakers.

They use tactics such as delaying a film's release date until after awards season has ended.

They delay the release of a low-budget movie until after the summer blockbuster seasons has started.

Distributors are also trying to keep films off the streets until audiences have already spent hundreds upon thousands of dollars on tickets or popcorn.

They don't want any of those profits to go to waste.

How many theaters am I required to make my investment return?

It depends on how long you plan to run your theatrical release.

You only need one theater if your film will be shown for less than 2 weeks.

If your film is going to be screened for more then two weeks, you will need two theaters.

How much does Hollywood make a year?

Production costs on average for a movie are around $100 million. So if you made ten movies a year for a decade, you'd have enough money to buy a small country.

If that doesn’t sound like fun, you must be insane.

Why is Hollywood calling it Hollywood?

The first film industry was founded in California in 1887 by D.W. Griffith. It was named in honor of its Los Angeles location, known at the time as "Hollywood".
