FAQ
How many movies makes Hollywood each year?
Each year, Hollywood studios produce approximately 3,000 films. It's true, there are three thousand!
Hollywood spends billions advertising these films. They spend millions on their production. They also spend millions marketing them. But how many do you think actually end up getting released into theaters?
It's probably between 200-300. What happens then to the 2,700+ remaining films? Most of them are either released direct-to-video or just sit in storage.
But not all of them are destined to go unseen. Some of these have been selected to be distributed via Netflix, Amazon Prime or Hulu Plus.
Hence why don't more of these films be released? Why are they not released in theaters? They're too expensive.
And if they were cheaper to produce, they'd be released into theaters.
This is where I come in. I can help guide you in the best way possible to put your movie in theaters.
I'll show how to maximize your return-on-investment (ROI) as well as increase your chances for seeing your movie in theatres.
We have to face it...
It can be very difficult to get your film in theaters. It is a complex, long-winded and complicated process that requires a lot of legalities.
It could also be costly before you even start.
Even worse, your window of opportunity to distribute your film is very limited.
There simply isn't enough time between when a film is finished, and its theatrical run begins.
How much does Hollywood make a year?
It costs about $100 million to make an average movie. The average movie costs around $100 million to make. If you made ten movies per month for a ten year, you'd have enough cash to buy a small country.
A private island with an airport and power plant, as well as a bank, post office and police station, would be yours.
If this doesn't sound fun, you are insane.
Why don't more filmmakers use crowdfunding websites like Indiegogo or Kickstarter?
Crowdfunding sites can be great as they let you reach out to potential investors.
Many filmmakers aren't qualified to ask money. They feel they need someone to stand by them.
Because they are still in their infancy, they do not believe that anyone should invest.
Instead, they spend long hours working on their project, in hopes of someone noticing.
They realized that they hadn't prepared properly when they launched their campaign.
They end up with only a few donations, instead of thousands of dollars.
